Built by Xiente
Economic mobility is measurable.
We built the instrument.
MobilityLens is a global AI-powered economic mobility decision intelligence system. We serve individuals building economic stability, nonprofits managing cases at scale, and researchers shaping the policies that affect both.
Our mission
Xiente is a social enterprise building AI-powered tools for social change and economic mobility. Every product we ship serves vulnerable individuals, nonprofits, foundations, and government agencies.
Wrong features, broken UX, or insecure code causes real harm to real people. Before we implement any feature, we ask: does this help someone move toward economic stability? If it creates friction, confusion, or risk for vulnerable users, we fix it before shipping.
The four-capital framework
Economic mobility is not just income. It is the accumulation and deployment of four interdependent capitals:
- Human Capital
- Skills, credentials, learning capacity, and workforce readiness
- Social Capital
- Networks, community ties, mentorship, and civic engagement
- Financial Capital
- Income, credit, savings, housing access, and business capital
- Resilience & Legal
- Crisis preparedness, legal standing, trauma-informed support
What we stand for
Evidence, not opinion
Every recommendation the platform makes cites a source — ALICE data, Opportunity Insights, HUD benchmarks, or practitioner expertise. No claim goes uncited.
Never deficit-framed
Economic mobility scores show growth potential, not a poverty label. We never describe users by what they lack — only by what they can build.
Privacy by design
Individual data never enters the RAG knowledge layer. Research exports are cohort-level only, with a minimum cohort of 50. Immigration status is optional and stored with heightened restrictions.
Local first
Every recommendation is calibrated to the user's ZIP code. National averages hide the variance that determines whether a family can afford rent in their actual city.
Open to everyone, sustainable for nonprofits
Individuals access the full platform for $5/month. Nonprofits and government agencies get enterprise pricing with volume tiers. No one who needs the platform is priced out of it.
Human escalation always available
AI can navigate, advise, and analyze. When complexity exceeds its confidence, the platform routes to a human expert. Every tier includes at least a group office hours session.
